In Dubai, filming permits come from the Dubai Film & TV Commission, in Sharjah from the Sharjah Media Council and in Abu Dhabi from the Abu Dhabi Film Commission. Many locations also need approvals from Dubai Municipality or Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. Janelle prepares and files these applications for you, along with the location approvals. ### What does a service producer in Dubai do for a foreign production? Everything that has to be in place before the crew lands and while they shoot: filming permits, location approvals, a trusted local crew, equipment, transport, schedules and a budget in dirhams.
